Our first meet was against Bismark. Bismark was ranked #4 in the state last year. Our wrestlers did a great job in their first match. We lost the match but several of the wrestlers won their individual matches (Brandon Maes, Alex Wilcox, Connor Tate and Travis Traxler). We also won all of the junior varsity matches (Alex Wilcox and Brandon Berry. It will be great to see the team grow, we still lack a lot of weight classes and as we get them filled out our team wont have to forfeit some matches in the future. Being that this was our first match and our first season, our guys all did a great job. They have a lot of heart and potential and their takedowns looked awesome.
