Wadley's Tournament 8.25.07
This was the first competition we attended for our Kids Striking Program. It was a point sparring tournament, put on by Farren Wadley and Bryant Martial Arts. It was a chance for John to get his feet wet in the competition arena.
At REVOLUTION we do things a little different than most schools. We start the kids on sparring from the beginning. We also focus primarily on Kickboxing and continuous sparring. However, this competition was a fun, safe way for John to test his skills before taking it to the next level. He came in early in the AM before the tournament. We made some slight modifictions to his Kickboxing game and came up with a game plan that would work in this tournament.
He got out there and followed his new game plan to a T, bringing home the win in a division of 6 Tough Kids! We look forward to great things from John in the future!
